I am often told by clients "Wow, you really listened to me" and that is important. I am a listener and not a talker. I listen to you and your body...what it is trying to say to me and to you. Your time on my table is your time. I will not be attempting to sell you products or discussing anything else UNLESS that is what you want to do with your time...it's up to you. Pricing: 1/2 hour-$45, 1 hour- $65, 1 1/2- $95. Pre-paid packages buy 4 sessions and get 1 free. When you come in for a session you will fill out a short health history form and we will discuss your therapeutic goals. A session may include a mixture of Swedish, Deep tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Stretching, Thermal Palms*, Cupping* and/or Hot stones*. All techniques are discussed with you before and/or during the session.
*Thermal palms are hand held heat packs made from oatmeal and water and held in a satin cover which conforms to the body's natural contours providing a smooth-satin-like texture against the skin. This is great for arthritis and fibromyalgia patients.
*Hot Stones are basalt stones heated in hot water and used to create deceptively deep pressure.
*Cupping creates suction and negative pressure, cupping is used to drain excess fluids and toxins, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, and bring blood flow to stagnant muscles and skin.This treatment is likley to cause light discoloration of the skin which may last for 7-10 days. The therapeutic applications of cupping is an ancient art and has been documented throughout written history and is found in practically all cultures. |
